You came. You connected. You made it WOW.
Last month, Call Design’s WOW 2025 wrapped up in Melbourne after two unforgettable days of energy, inspiration and innovation – officially cementing its place as Australia’s largest Workforce Optimisation conference to date.
With record attendance, this year’s event brought together workforce planners, contact centre and technology leaders from across Australia to explore what’s next for the world of workforce optimisation. From artificial intelligence to wellbeing, forecasting to real time automation, WOW 2025 set a new benchmark for how people, process and technology can work in harmony.

Where Conversation Met Innovation
At its core, WOW 2025 was about connection – a space for the brightest minds in workforce management to share, debate and imagine a better future of work.
Across keynote speakers, customer case studies, roundtables, and live demos, delegates explored the issues shaping modern workplaces – burnout, attrition, real-time management automation and the evolving role of AI in managing people and performance.
Some of the speakers included:
- Neo Aplin, who redefined how we think about Generative AI – not as hype but as a true productivity ally.
- Mark Carter, who inspired the crowd with a powerful message on how deliberate culture fuels smart strategy, performance and long-term success.
- Nick Atkin and David Ralston from AI, who offered a glimpse into the future of human–AI collaboration, where compliance meets compassion.
- Colin Whelan from Aspect WFM, who explored how people, process and technology can coexist in balance even in an AI-driven world.
- Haresh and John from Intradiem, who demonstrated Real-Time Management Automation in action, showing how intelligent automation prevents burnout and enhances agent wellbeing.
A Platform for Real Impact
WOW 2025 wasn’t just about ideas, it was about action. Delegates experienced customer case studies, interactive panels and technology showcases that brought workforce tools to life.
One highlight was the Attrition Savings Calculator, powered by Intradiem, which sparked meaningful discussion around the true cost of burnout and the measurable ROI of real-time automation.
And of course, the WOW Gala Dinner delivered its trademark mix of celebration, networking and inspiration, where industry peers connected over shared successes and future ambitions.
“WOW 2025 wasn’t just a conference; it was a milestone for our industry,” said Nimesh Dhanak, CEO at Call Design. “Every year, WOW creates a space where people can have real conversations about how technology and culture come together to shape better workplaces. The turnout this year shows how ready our industry is to embrace change and to do it thoughtfully.”
Shaping the Future of Workforce Management
As AI, automation and data-driven insights continue to transform the workplace, the message from WOW 2025 was clear: the future of workforce optimisation is human-centred, intelligent and agile.
The conference reinforced how organisations can use technology not to replace people, but to empower them, improving flexibility, engagement and performance at every level.
“It’s inspiring to see how workforce optimisation continues to evolve,” Dhanak added. “This year’s WOW Conference reflected a shared vision – one where innovation, collaboration and wellbeing go hand in hand and the feedback from attendees has been extremely positive.”
